Acceptable Use Policy

Effective Date: April 23, 2026Last Updated: April 23, 2026

getai.id is a product of Deep Identity Inc., a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, operating under the brand “deepidv” (always lowercase), with its principal offices at 535 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA 94105. This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of the getai.id platform, including the Universal AI Identity Protocol (UAIIP) infrastructure, the AI Identity Registry, all APIs, SDKs, attestation services, and associated tools. This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of the getai.id Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined in this AUP have the meanings assigned to them in the Terms of Service.

The UAIIP protocol exists to bring accountability, transparency, and trust to the AI ecosystem. It is designed to ensure that every AI system operating in the world can be traced to a verified human or organizational owner, enabling responsible governance of artificial intelligence at a global scale. This mission depends on every participant in the getai.id ecosystem using the platform ethically, lawfully, and in good faith. This Acceptable Use Policy establishes the boundaries of permissible conduct to protect the integrity of the protocol, the safety of its users, and the public interest.

§ 1

General Conduct Standards

You agree to use getai.id only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms, this AUP, and all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations. You agree to interact with the platform, its users, and the broader AI ecosystem with honesty, integrity, and respect. You agree not to use the platform in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the getai.id infrastructure, disrupt the experience of other users, or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of the platform. You agree to cooperate with Deep Identity Inc. in investigating any suspected violation of this AUP and to comply with any remedial measures we may require.

§ 2

Prohibited Uses — Identity Fraud and Misrepresentation

The foundational purpose of the UAIIP protocol is to establish truthful, verifiable identity attribution for AI systems. Any attempt to undermine the truthfulness or integrity of the registry constitutes a severe violation of this AUP. You shall not register an AI system that you do not own or have legal authorization to register. You shall not provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information during account registration, identity verification, or AI system registration, including misrepresenting your identity, organizational affiliation, the ownership of an AI system, or the capabilities of a registered system. You shall not use stolen, forged, or fraudulently obtained identity documents during the identity verification process. You shall not create multiple accounts to circumvent account restrictions, rate limits, suspensions, or bans. You shall not impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity, in connection with your use of getai.id. You shall not manipulate or attempt to manipulate the model fingerprinting process to generate a fingerprint that does not accurately represent the AI system being registered. You shall not falsify capability classifications, jurisdictional declarations, or compliance status in the AI Identity Registry.

§ 3

Prohibited Uses — Weaponization and Harmful Applications

The UAIIP protocol is designed to promote the responsible and accountable use of artificial intelligence. You shall not use getai.id or any information obtained from the platform to facilitate, enable, or support the development or deployment of AI systems designed to cause physical harm to any person, the development or deployment of autonomous weapons systems or any AI system intended to make lethal or injurious decisions without meaningful human oversight, the development of AI systems intended to generate disinformation, propaganda, or synthetic media for the purpose of deceiving the public, manipulating elections, or undermining democratic processes, the development or deployment of AI systems for mass surveillance, social scoring, or behavioral manipulation of populations in violation of international human rights standards, or the circumvention of lawful identity verification or age verification requirements, including the use of registered AI systems to bypass deepidv's own verification pipelines or the verification pipelines of third parties.

You shall not register an AI system on getai.id for the purpose of lending false credibility or a veneer of accountability to a system that is, in fact, designed for harmful purposes. Registration on getai.id does not constitute approval or endorsement of any AI system, and you shall not represent or imply otherwise.

§ 4

Prohibited Uses — Protocol Abuse and Technical Exploitation

You shall not engage in any activity that compromises the technical integrity, security, or availability of the getai.id platform or the UAIIP protocol. You shall not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems, servers, networks, databases, or accounts associated with getai.id, including through brute force attacks, credential stuffing, social engineering, or exploitation of software vulnerabilities. You shall not introduce malware, viruses, worms, Trojan horses, ransomware, or any other malicious code into the getai.id platform or into any system that interacts with the getai.id APIs or SDKs. You shall not conduct denial-of-service attacks, distributed denial-of-service attacks, or any other activity designed to disrupt or degrade the availability of the platform. You shall not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive the source code of the getai.id platform, the UAIIP smart contracts, the fingerprinting algorithms, the attestation protocols, or any other component of the platform's technology stack. You shall not attempt to manipulate, forge, or spoof attestation credentials, ASID identifiers, soulbound tokens, or any other cryptographic artifact issued by the UAIIP protocol. You shall not attempt to create counterfeit or unauthorized soulbound tokens on any blockchain network. You shall not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the platform in a manner that exceeds the published API rate limits or that imposes an unreasonable load on the platform infrastructure, except through the use of the published APIs in strict accordance with their documentation.

§ 5

Prohibited Uses — Circumvention of Identity Attribution

The UAIIP protocol is specifically designed to prevent anonymous operation of AI systems. Any attempt to circumvent the identity attribution mechanisms of the protocol is a violation of this AUP. You shall not use privacy-enhancing technologies, anonymization services, virtual private networks, proxy services, or any other tool for the specific purpose of concealing your true identity from the identity verification process or from legal authorities conducting lawful investigations. You shall not register an AI system under a nominee, front organization, or shell entity for the purpose of concealing the true beneficial owner or operator of the system. You shall not assist, enable, or encourage any third party in circumventing the identity attribution requirements of the UAIIP protocol. Note that this prohibition does not apply to the legitimate use of VPNs or privacy tools for general internet security purposes; it applies only to the use of such tools to specifically defeat the identity verification and attribution mechanisms of the UAIIP protocol.

§ 6

Prohibited Uses — Interference with the Registry

The AI Identity Registry is a public good that enables governments, organizations, and individuals to verify the identity and accountability of AI systems. You shall not tamper with, corrupt, or attempt to manipulate registry data through any means, including through exploitation of smart contract vulnerabilities or blockchain network attacks. You shall not submit frivolous, vexatious, or bad-faith challenges to the registration status of AI systems registered by other users. You shall not use information obtained from the registry (including ASIDs, public profiles, capability classifications, or owner identity information disclosed through legal process) for harassment, stalking, intimidation, blackmail, extortion, competitive sabotage, or any other malicious purpose. You shall not scrape, crawl, or bulk-download registry data for the purpose of building a competing registry, service, or product, or for any purpose not explicitly authorized by the getai.id Terms of Service or the Developer API License Agreement.

§ 7

Prohibited Uses — Intellectual Property Violations

You shall not use getai.id to register, fingerprint, or attest AI systems that you know or reasonably should know were developed using stolen intellectual property, including misappropriated model weights, training data obtained in violation of license agreements or applicable law, or proprietary algorithms obtained through unauthorized access. You shall not use the getai.id platform or any of its components in violation of Deep Identity Inc.'s intellectual property rights, including reproducing, distributing, or creating derivative works based on the platform's software, documentation, or design elements without express written permission.

§ 8

Compliance with Laws

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of getai.id complies with all applicable laws and regulations in every jurisdiction in which you operate. This includes, without limitation, laws governing artificial intelligence development and deployment, data protection and privacy (including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA, and applicable national AI governance frameworks), export controls and trade sanctions (you shall not use getai.id to register AI systems in violation of United States export control laws, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), or in violation of sanctions administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) or equivalent authorities in other jurisdictions), anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing laws, intellectual property laws, and any emerging AI-specific regulations such as the EU Artificial Intelligence Act, the Canadian Artificial Intelligence and Data Act (AIDA), or any United States federal or state AI governance legislation.

§ 9

Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any activity that violates this Acceptable Use Policy, including fraudulent registrations, misuse of registry data, technical attacks on the platform, or any other prohibited conduct, you are encouraged to report it to us immediately at security@deepidv.com. Reports may be submitted anonymously. We will investigate all credible reports and will take appropriate action, which may include warning the violating user, suspending or terminating their account, flagging their registry entries, reporting criminal activity to law enforcement, and pursuing legal remedies.

§ 10

Consequences of Violation

Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in one or more of the following consequences, at Deep Identity Inc.'s sole discretion. We may issue a written warning specifying the violation and requiring corrective action within a stated timeframe. We may temporarily suspend your access to getai.id, including your ability to register AI systems, access APIs, or manage existing registrations. We may permanently terminate your account and revoke your access to the platform. We may flag your registered AI systems in the registry with a status of “suspended” or “revoked,” which will be publicly visible to any party querying the registry. We may revoke your attestation credentials, preventing your AI systems from embedding valid attestation proofs in their outputs. We may report your conduct to law enforcement or regulatory authorities if we believe a violation constitutes criminal activity or a threat to public safety. We may pursue legal action against you, including seeking injunctive relief and monetary damages, in accordance with the Terms of Service.

Deep Identity Inc. reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether any conduct constitutes a violation of this AUP. We may, but are not obligated to, monitor use of the platform for compliance with this AUP. Our decision not to enforce any provision of this AUP in any particular instance shall not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision in the future.

§ 11

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the mechanisms described in the Terms of Service. Your continued use of getai.id after the effective date of the revised AUP constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
