Terms of Service

By accessing, browsing, or using getai.id in any manner, including by registering an account, submitting an AI system for registration, integrating any getai.id SDK or API into your systems, querying the AI Identity Registry, or simply viewing content on the getai.id website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service in their entirety. If you are accessing getai.id on behalf of a corporation, limited liability company, partnership, government agency, or any other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and the terms “you” and “your” shall refer to that entity. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease all use of getai.id and refrain from accessing any of its services.

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Deep Identity Inc. They govern your access to and use of the Universal AI Identity Protocol (“UAIIP”) infrastructure, the AI Identity Registry, the getai.id developer portal, all application programming interfaces (“APIs”), software development kits (“SDKs”), documentation, attestation services, verification tools, and any other features, products, or services made available through getai.id now or in the future. These Terms incorporate by reference all policies, guidelines, and supplemental terms published on getai.id, including the getai.id Privacy Policy, the getai.id Acceptable Use Policy, and the getai.id Developer API License Agreement.

getai.id is the public-facing interface for the Universal AI Identity Protocol (UAIIP), a cryptographic infrastructure designed and operated by Deep Identity Inc. that assigns verifiable, tamper-resistant identity credentials to artificial intelligence systems. The protocol is built on three foundational pillars: biometric-anchored ownership verification, which binds every registered AI system to a verified human individual or legally constituted organization through deepidv's identity verification pipeline; cryptographic model fingerprinting, which generates a unique, reproducible SHA-3-512 hash of a model's weights, architecture graph, and configuration metadata to create an immutable digital identity for each AI system; and behavioral attestation, which enables registered AI systems to embed cryptographic proof of identity into their outputs through API headers, token biasing watermarks, and media steganography, and simultaneously enables detection of unregistered systems through passive behavioral fingerprint analysis.

The getai.id platform provides the following categories of services. The AI Identity Registry is a publicly queryable, cryptographically secured ledger of registered AI systems, their owners, their capability classifications, and their compliance status, anchored to soulbound tokens on an EVM-compatible Layer 2 blockchain. The Registration Service enables individuals and organizations to register AI systems — including standalone models, fine-tuned derivatives, API-accessible systems, and autonomous agents — and receive an AI System Identifier (ASID), a 256-bit globally unique, collision-resistant identifier that serves as the system's digital identity. The Fingerprinting Service provides multiple pathways for generating model fingerprints, including full weight-based fingerprinting via secure upload, local SDK-based fingerprinting where model weights never leave the operator's infrastructure, and behavioral fingerprinting via a standardized prompt battery for API-accessible models. The Attestation Service issues cryptographic credentials that enable registered AI systems to prove their identity in their outputs, including API attestation headers (X-UAIIP-Attestation), text output watermarking through token biasing, and media watermarking through steganography for images, audio, and video. The Developer Portal provides API documentation, SDK downloads, integration guides, code samples, and sandbox environments for developers building on the UAIIP infrastructure. The Public Profile System provides each registered AI system with a publicly accessible profile page on getai.id displaying its ASID, registration status, capability classification, owner verification status, and compliance declarations.

To access certain features of getai.id, including the Registration Service, the Fingerprinting Service, the Attestation Service, and the Developer Portal, you must create an account. Account creation requires identity verification through deepidv's existing biometric verification pipeline, which may include government-issued identity document verification, facial biometric comparison, liveness detection, and sanctions and politically exposed persons screening. This biometric anchoring requirement is a fundamental architectural decision of the UAIIP protocol and cannot be waived. Anonymous registration is not permitted. Pseudonymous registration is supported, meaning your identity need not be publicly displayed on your AI system's profile page, but it must always be recoverable by authorized parties under defined legal processes, including valid court orders, subpoenas, and regulatory inquiries.

You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to create an account on getai.id. If you are registering on behalf of an organization, you must have the legal authority to bind that organization. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password, API keys, attestation credentials, and any other authentication tokens issued to you. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account, whether or not you have authorized those activities. You agree to immediately notify us at security@deepidv.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.

You agree that all information you provide during account registration and AI system registration is accurate, current, and complete, and you agree to update such information as necessary to maintain its accuracy. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that we reasonably believe contains inaccurate, fraudulent, or misleading information, or that has been used in violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.

When you register an AI system on getai.id, you are submitting that system for inclusion in the AI Identity Registry and requesting the issuance of an AI System Identifier (ASID) and a soulbound token on the UAIIP blockchain. The registration process requires you to provide truthful and complete information about the AI system, including its name or designation, its primary purpose and capability classification, the jurisdictions in which it is deployed or intended to be deployed, and information about its underlying architecture to the extent you are willing and able to disclose.

You represent and warrant that you are the lawful owner or authorized operator of any AI system you register on getai.id, that you have the legal right to register that system, and that the registration does not violate any law, regulation, contractual obligation, or third-party right. You acknowledge that registration on getai.id does not constitute approval, endorsement, certification, or validation of your AI system by Deep Identity Inc. or by any government, regulatory body, or standards organization. Registration establishes identity attribution only — it creates a verifiable link between an AI system and its owner, but it does not certify the safety, accuracy, fairness, or legal compliance of the registered system.

The soulbound token minted upon registration is non-transferable by design. It is permanently bound to the organizational wallet associated with your account and cannot be sold, traded, assigned, or otherwise transferred to any other wallet or party. This non-transferability is enforced at the smart contract level through transfer reversion, meaning any attempted transfer transaction will be automatically rejected by the blockchain. The ASID assigned to your system is globally unique and permanent. It cannot be reused, reassigned, or recycled, even if you subsequently deregister the system.

Certain services on getai.id are offered free of charge, including basic registry queries, public profile viewing, and access to documentation. Advanced services, including AI system registration, model fingerprinting, attestation credential issuance, API access beyond free-tier rate limits, and premium support, may be subject to fees as published on the getai.id pricing page. All fees are denominated in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified.

We reserve the right to modify our fee structure at any time upon thirty (30) days' prior written notice. If you do not agree to the modified fees, you may terminate your account before the new fees take effect. Continued use of paid services after the effective date of a fee change constitutes your acceptance of the new fees. All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in a separate written agreement or as required by applicable law. Late payments shall accrue interest at a rate of one and one-half percent (1.5%) per month or the maximum rate permitted by applicable law, whichever is less.

Deep Identity Inc. retains all right, title, and interest in and to the getai.id platform, the Universal AI Identity Protocol (UAIIP), the AI Identity Registry, all software, source code, object code, algorithms, cryptographic protocols, smart contracts, machine learning models, APIs, SDKs, documentation, user interfaces, designs, trade secrets, patents (including all pending patent applications), copyrights, trademarks (including “deepidv,” “getai.id,” “UAIIP,” “ASID,” “deepcam,” “deepeye,” “deepaddy,” “deepage,” and all related marks), and all other intellectual property rights associated with the platform and the protocol (collectively, “Company IP”). No rights in Company IP are granted to you except the limited licenses expressly set forth in these Terms and in the Developer API License Agreement.

You retain all right, title, and interest in your AI systems, your model weights, your training data, and your proprietary technology. By registering an AI system on getai.id, you grant Deep Identity Inc. a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to process the information you submit solely for the purpose of providing the registration, fingerprinting, attestation, and registry services. If you submit model weights for fingerprinting via the full upload pathway, the weights are processed solely for the purpose of computing the SHA-3-512 hash and are securely deleted immediately after fingerprint computation. We do not retain, store, copy, train on, or derive any benefit from your model weights beyond the fingerprint hash itself.

You shall not, and shall not permit any third party to, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decode, decrypt, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, cryptographic protocols, smart contract logic, or underlying structure of the getai.id platform or any component thereof. You shall not modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the platform. You shall not copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, or transmit the platform except as expressly authorized. You shall not remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, patent, or other proprietary notice displayed on or within the platform. You shall not use the platform to build a competitive product or service. You shall not access the platform for the purpose of benchmarking, competitive analysis, or feature replication. You shall not scrape, crawl, index, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform beyond the use of the published APIs in accordance with their documentation and rate limits.

Certain components of getai.id operate on public blockchain infrastructure, including the soulbound token registry and the attestation verification system. You acknowledge and agree that blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed by the network and that Deep Identity Inc. cannot reverse, cancel, or modify any confirmed blockchain transaction, including the minting of soulbound tokens. You acknowledge that blockchain networks may experience congestion, high gas fees, temporary unavailability, or forks, and that Deep Identity Inc. is not responsible for delays, failures, or costs resulting from blockchain network conditions outside our control.

The smart contracts deployed by Deep Identity Inc. for the UAIIP protocol have been designed and tested with commercially reasonable care, but you acknowledge that smart contracts are software and may contain bugs, vulnerabilities, or unforeseen behaviors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deep Identity Inc. disclaims all warranties regarding the operation of smart contracts, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. You use blockchain-based features of getai.id at your own risk.

Your use of getai.id is subject to the getai.id Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using getai.id, you consent to the collection, processing, storage, and transfer of your information as described in the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and your rights regarding your personal information.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of getai.id complies with all applicable data protection and privacy laws in the jurisdictions in which you operate, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the European Union, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) in California, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) in Canada, and any other applicable data protection legislation. Deep Identity Inc. provides tools and documentation to support your compliance efforts but does not guarantee compliance on your behalf.

Deep Identity Inc. shall use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain the availability of the getai.id platform, but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The platform may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, emergency maintenance, infrastructure upgrades, blockchain network issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We will endeavor to provide reasonable advance notice of scheduled downtime when practicable.

We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any feature, service, or component of getai.id at any time, with or without notice. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide thirty (30) days' notice before discontinuing any core service upon which registered users rely. However, we may make immediate changes without notice if necessary to address security vulnerabilities, legal requirements, or circumstances that threaten the integrity of the platform or the registry.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL DEEP IDENTITY INC., ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR ANY OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE GETAI.ID, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF DEEP IDENTITY INC. HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF DEEP IDENTITY INC. FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF GETAI.ID SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU HAVE PAID TO DEEP IDENTITY INC. IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00 USD).

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Deep Identity Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of getai.id, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any applicable law or regulation, your registration of any AI system, any claim that your use of the platform infringes or violates any third-party right, or any misrepresentation you make in connection with your account or AI system registration.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of getai.id that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation within thirty (30) days shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by JAMS in New York, New York, in accordance with its Comprehensive Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator. The language of the arbitration shall be English. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding, and judgment upon the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. Each party shall bear its own costs and fees, except that the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover its reasonable attorneys' fees and costs from the non-prevailing party. Each party irrevocably waives the right to trial by jury.

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Deep Identity Inc.

We may suspend or terminate your access to getai.id at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, if we believe in our sole discretion that you have violated these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or any applicable law, or if we determine that your continued use of the platform poses a risk to the security or integrity of the platform, the registry, or other users. Upon termination, your right to access and use getai.id shall immediately cease. However, the soulbound tokens already minted to your wallet cannot be destroyed or revoked by Deep Identity Inc. due to the immutable nature of blockchain records. We may, however, flag your registration status in the registry as “suspended” or “revoked,” which will be visible to any party querying your ASID.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at legal@deepidv.com. Termination of your account does not relieve you of any obligations incurred prior to termination, including payment obligations. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including Sections 6, 7, 10, 11, and 12.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on getai.id with a revised “Last Updated” date and, for registered users, by sending an email notification to the address associated with your account. Your continued use of getai.id after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using getai.id.
